I have an Elecrow 5" TFT Raspberry Pi Display (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013JECYF2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) And a Raspberry Pi 3 B+. I take the firmware off of github (https://github.com/Elecrow-keen/Elecrow-LCD5) by using "git clone https://github.com/Elecrow-keen/Elecrow-LCD5.git" and I have also downloaded and unpacked the .zip from the github link. When I run the Elecrow-LCD5 file, my Pi restarts and gets stuck on the rainbow screen. The only way to fix this is to reinstall the boot partition.
