Cto needle number only works on 1-9 not on double digits

When creating a tbf file with needle number 1 or 2 or 3 or any other up to 9 the Tajima machine can read the needle number. But when the needle number is 10,11,12,13,14 or 15 the machine reads only the 1 and needle is set to 1 on the machine. How can we program so that the machine recognizes the needle 10 up to 15 when they are double digits?
