How the VEN could take the role of the VTN ?

I studied your code and I did not understand how the VEN (like your ven-python) could take the role of VTN in a communication like this :
VTN <------> VEN/VTN <------> VEN
How the VEN will pass the information to the VTN ? Can you help me on this point ?

The OpenADR protocol doesn't define any specifics on how the interaction should occur in the VEN+VTN use case. It's specific to your deployment.

One way you could implement this functionality is to have your VEN insert OpenADR Event objects directly into your VTN's database. Or your VTN could expose a REST API which your VEN hits and pass information that way.

oadr2-ven-python and odr2-vtn-new are not necessarily set up to enable this kind of communication right now, but pull requests are welcome.
