There are a few terms that might be suitable for this already:

vivarium (ENVO:00010622) - def: A vivarium is an enclosure for keeping and raising organisms for observation or research. Often, a portion of the ecosystem for a particular species is simulated on a smaller scale, with controls for environmental conditions. (subclass of biomaterial containment unit)

terrarium (ENVO:00000349) - def: A terrarium is a vivarium which simulates a terrestrial environment.

Just looking at your definition, is there a difference between a "growth chamber" and a "vivarium" ? E.g. are growth chambers focused on growth, while vivariums (vivaria??) may be focused on other processes?

It also seems that "plant growth chamber" is more common than just "growth chamber." So:

plant growth chamber - def: A plant growth chamber is a vivarium which simulates a terrestrial environment using artificial light, moisture and temperature controls.

The definition of terrarium may be a bit too simplistic next to this. Looking at the reference, it looks like this term refers specifically to vivariums without artificial light, humidity and temperature controls. So maybe we also change the definition of terrarium:

terrarium - def: A terrarium is a vivarium enclosed by transparent walls which simulates a terrestrial environment without additional artificial inputs.
