Paint run again

During the grid generation code, the display.paint function is called.
Is there way to force the display.paint override to be processed again.
Based on a dropdown selection I change which days get painted, so I would like to display.paint function to be run again.

seriesDate.display.paint = (unit, date, classes, element) => {
    if (unit === tempusDominus.Unit.date) {

There's a _rebuild function you could call datetimepicker1.display._rebuild(). That closes the widget (if open) and nulls out the widget. You could also target the css classes for those dates.

Yep _rebuild does what I need.
