Does ecChronos handle cross-DCs anti-entropy repair in multiple DCs setup?

In a 2-DC Cassandra setup sharing the same replication pool, does ecChronos automatically manage repair sessions across both data centers to resolve data inconsistencies, or is it limited to local DC repairs?

ecChronos can schedule repairs across data centers, it should be the default behavior.

Hi, Just to add an operational note from large multi-DC deployments.
Even though cross-DC repair scheduling is supported by default, it’s worth monitoring the inter-DC impact during repair windows. In practice, teams typically keep an eye on:

• Cross-DC network throughput and latency
• Compaction pressure during repair
• Concurrent repair limits to avoid saturating inter-DC links
  In higher-latency or bandwidth-constrained environments, staggering repair intensity or aligning repair windows with periods of lower replication activity helps keep cross-DC traffic predictable.

This is especially relevant for geographically distributed clusters where repair traffic competes with normal replication.
