Do you have an example how to zoom in/out into an image at runtime?

you could host in a zooming container (e.g. could try converting my https://github.com/Zoomicon/Zoomicon.ZUI.FMX.Delphi to VCL), but I had seen pixelization issues when zooming into SVG images provided by SVGIconImageList in the past (from debugging it seemed to generate some buffer once and not update it upon scale change, but hadn't found the time to look into fixing that - not sure if it has been fixed in the meantime)

Regarding the pixelization issue I mentioned above (when SVGIconImage is insize a zooming container's hierarchy, aka some (grand)parent FMX control(s) use Scale<>1), a fix could be to override RecalcAbsolute (it's a virtual method) and recreate the bitmap buffer used (see discussion at https://deepwiki.com/search/i-remember-having-issue-in-fmx_d5e7aeac-4f87-4bfa-8a67-d1fd47853ff2?mode=fast)

For zoomable SVG images, using TSkSvg directly (from SKIA) gives nice results (uses a TBrush from what I understand instead of a back buffer).

See https://github.com/Zoomicon/Zoomicon.Media.FMX.Delphi/blob/main/Source/Zoomicon.Media.FMX.MediaDisplay.pas (that is an FMX control, but code for using TSkSvg should be similar in VCL I suppose) and search for SVG there to see how to use it (that component is a wrapper for FMX for bitmap, svg, animated images - in git history can find older version too that uses TSVGIconImage from this repo instead of TSkSvg [but had the pixelization issue at zoom])
