GUI: (1) Enable & Disable Filter? ; (2) Load Filter Buggy?

I managed to perform a successful "textbook" ARP spoof + denial of service attack in my home "lab" setup using Ettercap's GUI interface (run ettercap -G -i en0)

While the GUI can be loaded with a filter at the start with the -F argument,

1. I cannot load another filter thru interacting with the GUI because the load filter dialog is buggy and doesn't show files and certainly does not show .ef files. In fact, I cannot load any filters at all thru the GUI because of this issue.

2. I cannot figure out how to toggle a loaded filter in the GUI. In other words, how to enabling and disable a filter. In contrast, it's clear how to do this in the TUI (show filters, and enter the filter number to enable/disable it).

Environment

Ettercap version 0.8.3.1 (installed withbrew install ettercap)
