Explain the obvious

After 1h I still don't know how to do something obvious like recording a video with quicktime that includes mic + speaker output.

The problem is it's not actually obvious.

Quicktime doesn't mix BlackHole and Microphone. You need something else to do that. That's why we also created a paid app called Dipper. https://dipper.audio.
