node-flif uses flif-wasm for OSX and Linux, however for Windows it relies on having a self-contained executable of FLIF to be able to operate. The existing executable we are using for Windows require you to install additional things (like C++ Redist on Windows). So instead we have placed all the needed system files next to it so the user does not need to install additional things for it to run properly. However it would be preferred if everything needed was baked into the .exe during the build process.

I need someone familiar with C/C++ builds to create a script that will do the builds to produce a single native flif.exe that could be used on any Windows computer without requiring anything else (a fresh install of Windows should be capable of running the flif.exe CLI without errors).

I would like to target these platforms:

  • Windows 32-Bit
  • Windows 64-Bit (optional)

Those are ordered by highest priority, Win 32 should run without issues on a 64 bit version of Windows, so if we can only have one, it makes sense for it to be the 32-bit version.
