Thanks for your wine installer to put logos on linux.
I had been able to install on Mint linux 22 and fedora 42 but the touchpad of my HP Elite X2 1012 G1 caused my cursor to jump to different places while typing. Despite spending hours trying to change driver and config settings I gave up and discovered elementary os is configure out of the box to prevent this happening. Now I've reached this hurdle.

I was able to overcome this issue by manually download arial ttf fonts from the internet, unzipping it and copying the fonts into /usr/share/wine/fonts

As I was unable to install Logos on Elementary OS 8 I installed Elementary OS 7, hoping that the problem had been caused by something new/different elementary had done in 8, but I had the same problem in 7 and unfortunately the copying arial.ttf into the /usr/share/winefonts didn't fix the issue as it had in 8

You could also try coping the arial font into your Linux system font directory - wine should search there too

I created a truetype dir in /usr/local/share/fonts and moved airial.ttf into it which allowed the installation to proceed. However, once I was able to start the logos app, I attempted to sign in and tried clicking on different buttons to the Authrize as per "400" but without success. When I start logos again now, even after a reboot, the splash screen just remains on screen i.e. the app doesn't start properly

1. I copied arial.ttf into /usr/local/share/fonts/truetype (after creating the truetype dir as it didn't exist. Following this I was able to continue with the installation and then start Logos. After getting the sign in screen I first clicked on authorise, then the other buttons as described in issue 400. Unfortunately Logos just hung. After a restart when I tried to start logos, the initial splash didn't go away. This was when I created the attatched zip file. I added it to another comment but when I looked again just now discovered it wasn't saved to this issue. Now when I try and start logos the splash screen does disappear but logos doesn't run. If I start Logos from ou dedetai, the splash screen remain visible ongoing.

This issue should be fixed as of #413. Are you able to try the latest updates on the master branch?

If not, as soon as we merge #401, we will release a new beta 12 that should have the latest fixes.
