Language file does not work

Using paucal 0.6.0+1.20.1-forge

Whenever any translation string from the mod appears, what it translates to does not appear, only the key does, so
Examples:
In the statistics screen "stat.paucal.headpats_gotten" and "stat.paucal.players_patted" appear
Running /paucal getInfo @s makes command.paucal.contributor.not_contributor appear in chat
Running /paucal reload makes command.paucal.reload appear in chat
