Hi, this is already possible, with a bit of work on database side. You can open the pocketbase frontend (see wiki) and change your username on following fields:
If applicable/relevant for you, the username is stored as text (not as id) in:

So I changed the values in the pocketbase, but when I try to access a trail, it will redirect me to the old name. I'm not sure where that name comes from, except from maybe the meilisearch? Should I change something there as well? |

With the introduction of the fediverse, I am kind of figuring out a way to handle my 2 accounts (one on Mastodon, and now one on my self-hosted Wanderer).
The story
One of the things I did when setting up my wanderer-instance was creating an account, with a random username. Thinking it would be non-linked instance, solely for my own use, I didn't think much of it, and continued using and importing all my trails from Komoot.
With the introduction of being able to follow my own instances in both ways: Mastodon <-> Wanderer, I noticed that this username is now out in the open, and I'd like to change it to something more appropriate and visible. I can't seem to find a function to change the username, which is what I need now.
TL;DR
I need to change my username, and can't find a way to do it.
I can live with a one-off solution, and am not really afraid of using the command line. But I am wondering how easy it'd be to implement, since I'm not really familiar with the used stack.
