This is duplicate of #379 tough it only describes ability to trim the ends. |

On Strava, there is a feature that allows you to hide addresses or locations on the map by setting a specific radius. This setting helps protect your privacy, ensuring that sensitive areas, such as your home, are not publicly visible. |

The privacy location obfuscation setting seems to be more related to #399 |

Hello,
thanks for developing this. I recently got into biking and have read about the kamoot fiasco and I'm happy to see that there are open source alternatives out there.
I went out for a ride today and recorded a .gpx with Comaps, then transferred it to my computer and uploaded it top the softwerke instance here: https://trails.magdeburg.jetzt/map/trail/@brinkola/fe7bb5938f005f4
I recoreded my whole route, but I only wanted to include the ascent to the Klobuk hill and the descent down from it, without the pavement I rode to get there and back. Here I ran into an issue, as moving the start and end points around automatically re-calculated the route, and created something new which I did not ride. In fact it created something very different.
I feel like the most intuitive way to do something like this however, would be to be able to "trim" the .gpx I uploaded, something akin to what you would do in a movie editing software. I'm attaching a picture that hopefully explains this. If there is already a way to "trim" the gpx or achieve this please let me know!
