[Bug]: The tab names are hidden on vertical tabs #2302

Bug Summary
The tab names are hidden when you access the vertical tab bar. I have set it to autohide, and expand on hover. When it autohides and then I move my cursor to expand it, the tab names are all hidden. They proceed to appear when I click on 1 or 2 tabs.
Reproduction Steps
- Turn on Vertical tabs in the settings.
- Set the side bar to auto-hide and expand on hover.
Expected Behavior
You would see the tabs when you hover on the sidebar with their names visible.
Actual Behavior
The sidebar, expands as usual, but the tab names are hidden.
