Hi. When does the error get thrown - at startup, when you enter something in the search box, at the settings screen? This is what the "To Reproduce" section of the issue template is for.

Thanks for the quick response @deefrawley . This happens right at startup. I don't really have steps to reproduce, it happens sporadically: ~ 30% of the time I start my machine. Seems to me like some type of race condition.

Have you set a web proxy in the settings?

I have not. This is a fairly new installation, all default settings.
