Not sure on the action/resolution here yet, but raising as a point of friction
How to Recreate
- Create a new Hosted Instance
- Add a "FF MQTT Out" Node to the flow
- Wire an Inject node to the MQTT out node, deploy and then try to publish a message
This will result in an authentication error. If you then follow the "Configure Access Control" action and give permissions to the client to publish on the broker at at the relevant topic, then whilst this is the correct resolution, it will take up to 5 minutes for that to take effect due to the caching that's in place on the Broker.
The caching is required to improve speed/performance of the broker, so there is a balance to be had of smaller interviews pose risk to FF performance, the higher the time limit though means that updates can take some time to take effect.
