Can't get to start of word when pressing "b"

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this is a bug/configuration bug on my part. I noticed if I start at the following position in this section of code and press "b", I don't get a hint to go to the start of the word (at the 't' following the first quote). Pressing "bb" takes me to the 'n'.
