Hi @howetuft I don't know how to contact you directly. I'm working on a new Workbench called RichView which will take over some functionality and implement a Material-based rendering workflow which creates an object on a DrawPage with DrawViewImage (Mitsuba bitmap), DrawViewSymbol (generated RichView hatch SVG), and a DrawViewPart (TechDraw HLR lines + dimensions). Thank you for the request, it's very interesting; however I have decided to dedicate my efforts to projects other than rendering in FreeCAD (and more generally to software other than FreeCAD).
I remain available for any questions or feedback on FreeCAD-Render, if necessary.
