[Bug]: Network errors intermittently cause videos to lose watch progress

Describe the bug

• When network is down temporarily, the stream pauses, the watch progress & total video length timestamps disappear from view, and a large spinner is shown
• Once the network becomes available again, the video restarts rather than continues

Expected Behavior

In the previous version, the video would continue rather than restart. Probably regression.

Additional Information

Another thing I noticed, is the video is playing as audio-only, but when it restarts it changes to dash/video format.

• I have encountered this bug in the latest nightly build.

I was able to reproduce the bug by turning off my network connection while watching a video. After waiting for a few moments without any network access, I turned the Wi-Fi back on. However, instead of the video restarting or rebuffering, it continued playing from where it left off, without any interruption or restart. thank you

I've seen this happen too, although it's quite random.

However, it's true that whenever a video is refreshed or revisited, the video/audio format and other settings, such as language, get reset
