Reboots with no apparent reason

Dear devs,

since the upgrade to 2026.3 my router is rebooting from time to time without me understanding why. I have an R8000 and the AIO version. It worked like a charm until I upgraded two weeks ago (I have to say I do not remember which version was there before).

FreshTomato Firmware 2026.3 K26ARM7 USB AIO-64K
Linux kernel 2.6.36.4brcmarm and Broadcom Wireless Driver 7.14.43.40 (r527781)

do you have a mean to log why the router is rebooting? I would like to know if this is a system or hardware issue.

I think you'll need to clear nvram and reconfigure from scratch. Make a backup of your config and give it a try.

You can try this to see if it is a kernel panic:

You can also set in Administration > debugging:
Enable segfault logging
Kernel printk log level set to debug

You can also send the logs to a usb drive so it will not be lost by a reboot.

For reference, there have been some weird issues with the R8000 lately.
