Invalid Jump URL requests spam TYPO3 system log

It seems that web crawlers make invalid requests on Jump URL addresses. As a result i get tons of system log entries every day.

The error comes from the redirect validation: https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/jumpurl/blob/master/Classes/JumpUrlHandler.php#L221

Can you add an option to suppress this error to be logged? Or is this "expected behavior" and should only be logged as a info?
