I just tried on a tumbleweed docker image, had to install libdw-devel on top of the dependencies that were already installed by the script (and removed schedtool from the packages it tries to install, as apparently it's not packaged), and I could successfully build a kernel (with an empty modprobed-db)

Yeah no problem with that I could install schedtool by opi and install libdw-devel also before that but I will try tomorrow again and see

Alright, I understand better now what's happening, the kernel-syms package isn't getting generated anymore and it seems to be still necessary. I'll figure it out then ping you
