Description
Deprecate fusionauth-search
bundle
Description
The fusionauth-search
bundle is just a package of Elasticsearch 7.6.1. The intent of the package is to make it easier to get Elasticsearch up and running.
However, we recommend FusionAuth users to utilize a more recent version of Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
We plan to deprecate this package and stop shipping it. Please plan to begin using an alternate method of obtaining Elasticsearch.
You can use a Docker image, a managed service that provides Elasticsearch or OpenSearch. Or you also have the option to just download Elasticsearch or OpenSearch directly.
- Announce plans for deprecation in 1.48.0
- Stop shipping this package at the end of 2023.
- Update documentation.
- Update quickstart (
fusionauth-install
) - Brochure site for downloads
- Direct download page on brochure site
- Hombrew builds (remover fusionauth-search)
