Question about current RDNA4 performance

Hello, we did some tests on blender 4.4 on w7900 and 9070xt card. In barbershop scene, w7900 got 80 seconds and 9070xt got 87 seconds.
So can this result reflect actual hardware performance? Or HIPRT still needs optimization for rdna4?

I own a power color 9070xt and yes I get 1:34 in the barbershop scene. Which is not as good as the 7900xt. I wonder if its some amd driver, blender issue or hipRT thingy :(

We will address optimizations for RDNA 4 in future releases, trying to align with the HIP SDK release.

We released HIPRT-v3 that fully supports RDNA4 RT features.
