fell off system menu

Describe the bug

I'm not sure what or where the problem is, or even what a good issue title is. best I can describe :

1. sometimes paring breaks: 2 devices don't see each other. Unpair/pair and all is well for another month or 2. No idea what triggers this, easy enough to work around so I just roll with it.

2. a few weeks ago the gsconnect item is no longer on my system menu:

prefs opened once, then I guess I closed the window, and now:

Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

Some random things that seem worth noting:

if it's installed from Ubuntu's repositories, it's a number of versions behind (v50 -> v59), but i'm not aware of anything relevant to the system menu that has changed

gsconnect is diabled or something?

It does need to be enabled in order to be in the system menu.

got it. I never use this dialog. No idea how it got disabled.
Enabling it brought back gs-connect (no surprise)
so this issue is closed.
