Bug Report
By default, the Life Charm item works like a totem of undying or death protection poppet, in that it restores health at its own expense upon death, preventing it. However, the Vat seems to take precedence over this charm, meaning it is instead dropped along the rest of the inventory and you resurrect inside the vat instead.
