The Lumber Axe cannot handle unsupported horizontal sections. Sections like this do not work:
I think this is caused by this line:

By storing the visited wood this way, only one visited wood gets stored per layer and it can't search horizontally. I don't think this is intended behavior. Naively changing the type of visited might not be ideal though. This bug might be masking a slow intended behavior.
