Issue for the second part of #141.
Though we can probably survive for a while with the basic lightsail logging console we have out of the box, if/when we outgrow it we'll want some more robust infrastructure for persisting/viewing/analyzing the logs.
If we weren't on lightsail, I think aws cloudwatch would probably be the easiest thing to work with. But at a glance lightsail doesn't seem to be as easy to integrate with cloudwatch as other services would be, so we should probably consider some non-aws alternatives.
