What is the feature?
I love to see support for launchers that run VHS tapes, and that can be pinned to the taskbar.
Why do you want this?
I like to provide buttons that run certain tasks (like open a new window, open the config file, and move it to the right side of the screen)
Proposed Solution
I like to be able to add config entries, like this:
[launcher]
debug.tape
[launcher]
config.tape
[minimized]
The [minimized] entry does indicate that the minimized windows will be placed right of them.
It could also be put as the first entry instead, to place the minimized windows left of the launcher entries.
The first and the second icons in this example would be launcher buttons instead.
I can also see that we support Unicode icons to replace the numbers.
If the user clicks on an icon, it executes the configured VHS file.
This can mean that a new window is created this way, and that can then be minimized to this spot as well.
This would give us a good toolbar and make me very, very happy. 😄
