question about dnscrypt #389

|
I use a personal DNS server on my smartphone: dns.google. I'm wondering if I enable only the DNS Crypt function, will it encrypt traffic from my smartphone to the dns.google or one.one.one.one server? Does it make sense to use DNS Crypt in this case, since DOT has traffic encryption by default? |

Yes, your DNS traffic will be encrypted.
This is what DNSCrypt is intended for.
