Redstone dust direction in mcjava

Redstone dust direction in minecraft bedrock

you can see there that the direction is different, and when the lever is pressed the piston does not want to move, even though in minecraft bedrock it can be seen that the redstone dust is pointing towards the piston

so the problem is that the direction of the redstone dust in mcjava and mcbe is different

The new piston will work if it is placed like this

To Reproduce

1. Place the piston, redstone dust, lever as shown in this picture.
   
2. The piston doesn't move even though redstone dust is connected to the piston.

Expected behaviour

The direction of redstone dust in mcbe and mcjava is the same
