Minecraft armour trims problem

Describe the bug

I joined my minecraft 1.21.11 server through my MCPE 1.26 and when I tried applying trims in my armour it shows a crossed arrow and says this item can't be upgraded this way but when my friend join from pc it works

To Reproduce

1. Place a smithing table
2. Place any trim in left
3. Place netherite chest plate in middle
4. Place redstone powder in right

Expected behaviour

A red cross will appear over the arrow mark and trim will not be applied
