Physical Domain: Interface Definition Value Type

Using SAF profile in Sparx EA.
In the interface definition, the two value types (physical pin, electrical signals) do not connect with interface layer mapping. Invalid source and target types for connector.

Basically I want to recreate diagram in the physical interface definition viewpoint guide where two value types are mapped. So they can be described in the IBD of the mapping block.

will forward the discussion over to the SAF EA profile project.
I had a first look and it seems the connection was not implemeted - it is an issue indeed.
Suggest to correct the issue in the profile asap.

EA MDG 2024.5 should provide a work-around for the issue:

1. link both value types with a common association (exposed with 2024.5)
2. create an Interface Layer Mapping Block as single element
3. select the Interface Layer Mapping Block > Right-click > Advanced > Association Class and select the association from (1)

Not ideally, but it seems you can't define linking rules for SysML Value Types in MDG profiles.
Will investigate the issue further for a more convenient solution in future.
