TIDAL CONNECT - Possible to install on Armbian Amlogic S922X Bookworm 6.18.9 Server

I did not know where to put it but have a question. I would like to install Tidal Connect on my Beelik GT-King, which has S992X Amlogic processor I have installed Armbian Bookworm server there and want to run it as Music transport conencted through USB to my DAC. I was able to setup Squeezelite and Roon Bridge as standalone binaries, but not Tidal Conenect. A tried to do it through docker, did not work, but I want to keep my "transport" clean, so using now just binaries.

Hello, a couple years ago I tried to install Armbian on an old Minix Neo U1. Most audio containers worked, apart from tidal connect. The issue seemed to be related with the cpu itself somehow not compatible. Your device is a different beast, which issue are encountering? Can you share something about your configuration?

Thank you for your quick reply. I just reinstall all armbian. Had a docker but because it was not working . As I remember it was a lot about some libraries problems/missing 32bit / 64bit So I reinstalled it, want it very light, so I went with just standalone binaries of Squeezelite and Roon Bridge as I do want it as clean as possible and turn off Bluetooth, HDMI, SPDIF, WiFi, went with powersave mode of CPU. So for now I am not able to produce any log for you. I just was again browsing and discovering if there is smth new according Tidal Connect on Linux and came here and ask if it is vene possible to work on armbian linux but not with docker and rather with binary file.

Running the binaries without docker might be possible but will most likely be a pain. Your system will not remain "clean" as you'd probably prefer.
The binary is very old now and requires old libraries.
What is your concern in running it through docker?

I did try docker and was not successful I do not remember exactly. But I was able to see Tidal Connect device in Tidal Native App on my iphone, but was not playing It was skipping songs one after another and no sound. I tried to solve it with Gemini that time, but no success. I do not want to bother you right now. If I will try again to work it will contact you.

No worries. If you decide to try again, maybe set log level to 4 or more with LOG_LEVEL=4 (or up to 6) in your .env file, then look at container logs for some hints on what might be wrong.
