Issue fetch bug when loading a specific watched repo and having some older items outside the scope of initial pagination #2583
Open
Description
Repro description:
I have ~62 unmarked inbox issue items. When viewing All, initially it loads 50 and I can scroll down to fetch the additional 12.
For the repo that contains the majority of these unread items (this repo actually), some tickets are intermittent and can extend back a month or two.
When fetching within that specific repro, the fetch does not complete and the badge number directly doubles with a perpetual spinner.

Can you do some debugging with FLEX or the GitHub API to see where the difference is?

@rnystrom I shall try but do you have a good resource/link or simplified bullets of what to do
I tried the 3 finger tap and also enabled a debug setting. Didn’t know where to go from
There. I tried googling and no luck with anything that gave me insight on this
I know you once asked me to do something similar here and I failed at that. Hopefully it’s a litte easier to do
When you say “the difference” what are you trying to uncover. I can compare behavior to how it works on desktop perhaps?
Edit: I think the overarching issue is that it can’t fetch repo specific past 50 total (unread+read) issues
