Ability to open absolute links in a new tab?

I'm trying to get put some links that get opened in a new tab.

I tried putting {:target="_blank"} in the markdown, but that didn't work.

Ultimately, I'm trying to achieve the following...

• Change an element to go from being rendered like this:

  <a class="underline underline-offset-2 text-primary hover:text-primary-700 transition-colors " href="https://devzero.io/dashboard">https://devzero.io/dashboard</a>
  

• To being rendered like this (with a target="_blank"):

  <a class="underline underline-offset-2 text-primary hover:text-primary-700 transition-colors " href="https://devzero.io/dashboard" target="_blank">https://devzero.io/dashboard</a>
