This safety concept was adopted by [Dr. Jakub Tkaczuk](https://ghe.ethz.ch/about/people/person-detail.MzIxNzEy.TGlzdC80MTI2LC0xNDYwMDMwNTU3.html) <a href="https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7997-9423"><img alt="ORCID logo" src="https://info.orcid.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/orcid_16x16.png" width="16" height="16" /></a> for Global Health Engineering (GHE) at ETH, D-MAVT and is valid from 1 January 2024.

This website contains all the safety related documents for Global Health Engineering and is structured as follows:
### [Operational Safety](operational-safety.qmd)
Contains the group-specific operational safety concept, including general laboratory and workshop rules, hazard identification, and emergency procedures.
### [Chemical Safety](chemical-safety.qmd)
Provides information about the chemicals used within the group and the safety measures to mitigate chemical risks, including safety data sheets and disposal guidelines.
### [Biological Safety](biological-safety.qmd)
Contains the biosafety concept adapted to the needs of GHE, including procedures for working with biological agents and BSL2 laboratory guidelines.
