Fund My Cause Roadmap

This document outlines the public roadmap for Fund My Cause, mapping major features and milestones to our release timeline.

Overview

Our roadmap is organized into phases, each with clear goals, deliverables, and timeline estimates. We use GitHub Issues to track individual tasks and progress.

Milestones

Phase 1: MVP Launch ✅

Status: Completed
Goal: Core crowdfunding functionality on testnet
Features:

  • Campaign creation and deployment
  • Contribution system
  • Basic refund logic
  • Testnet deployment
  • Simple UI for campaign browsing

Phase 2: Beta Release 🚧

Status: In Progress
Goal: Production-ready platform on testnet with improved UX
Target Date: Q4 2024 Features:

  • Campaign draft autosave with conflict handling
  • Optimistic UI for contributions
  • Global command palette (⌘K)
  • Enhanced campaign analytics
  • User profile pages
  • Campaign updates feature
  • Improved image and video upload
  • Campaign categories and filtering
  • Advanced search with semantic understanding

Phase 3: Mainnet Readiness 🔮

Status: Upcoming Goal: Full security audit and mainnet deployment Target Date: Q1 2025 Features:

  • Full security audit (both code and infrastructure)

Phase 4: Platform Growth 🌱

Beta Release (Phase 2)

Mainnet Readiness (Phase 3)

  • Security: Security audit, multi-sig, enhanced monitoring
  • Infrastructure: Mainnet deployment pipeline, cost optimization
  • Governance: Initial governance features

Platform Growth (Phase 4)

  • Advanced Features: Milestone funding, recurring contributions
  • Community: Social features, referrals, partnerships

How to Contribute
