Opening links from voyager app closes all tabs

When browsing in the voyager app, and clicking on a link to an article for example, it opens the site in vanadium in a complete new session, closing all current tabs except the link i clicked on.
From other apps i havent seen this issue yet.

Is it opening it inn a custom tab over top of the app? You can move that into the browser window with the menu.

No it switches to vanadium. On onther apps i do see the custom tab. When i click a link my tabs are still there. But when i "swipe back" to voyager and open vanadium, everything is gone. When i go to my home screen first and then open voyager it doesn't happen. And all tabs including the opened link are still there.
