WineHQ ban #1
Description
I think I have Wine 11 loaded into my LinuxMint v22.3 machine. At least I have a Wine folder in my Download folder, but Wine does not appear in my Menu. I also have Bottles installed, with two Windows programs loaded, but neither of them will open, and I can find no Executables anywhere.
So, I tried to go to WineHQ for help.
For some reason while trying to login to WineHQ I was repeatedly told that my password was incorrect, despite using my original. So I tried changing the password and was repeatedly told that that was incorrect. Then, because, they said, that I had too many login attempts, a permanent ban was placed on my user name, and was told to contact the Board Administrator for more information, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. So I tried to establish a new user name, but was told that my email was already in use.
I don't understand any of this. I just want to be able to use Windows programs on my Linux machine. What can be done?
