Invsee command doesn't work

When I use the /invsee command to see other players' inventories, it shows briefly, then closes. When I /invsee myself, this does not happen.

It seems to work only when the other player has an inventory open (or container)

Can confirm, but in my case it does not work even the other player has a chest open.
