[BUG] Random freezing and crashing after screenshot

Taking a screenshot using hyprshot -m region --freeze with a low chance completely freezes up with a cross cursor. This issue is a duplicate of #111 , and I can replicate it, however I also experience random crashes.
Besides from the freezing, which can be fixed by killing 'hyprpicker', sometimes when I screenshot, the mouse is suddenly unresponsive, everything feels like it's at 1 FPS, and apps such as VMware start crashing. This doesn't stop even if hyprshot and hyprpicker are killed, and is only fixed by reboot.
If hyprland isn't killed or the machine isn't rebooted, after a while of this lag I get a segfault and get sent back to tty. No unusual CPU/RAM spikes happen during this 'seizure'.
Both of these issues happen very often and I'm fed up with it. Anyone got alternatives?

Hi, if you're looking for an alternative, you might be interested in my recent rewrite of this tool, Hyprcap, which can also reuse the geometry logic and pass it to wf-recorder for screen recordings. I have not yet encountered this same issue, but I am actively developing and maintaining it, so if it does arise I can look into it.

These issues might be caused by the freezing solution in this script, including a bit of a rogue loop which should ensure hyprpicker is killed, but it sometimes becomes an infinite loop while failing to kill hyprpicker.
