Log into fastx and access our server files

Sign into server from fastx linux environment

1. Log into fastx: https://fastx.divms.uiowa.edu

2. Open terminal

3. Click on GUI: Places > Connect to Server...

• Server: itf-rs-store15.hpc.uiowa.edu
• Type: select Windows share
• Share: /vosslabhpc/
• Folder: /
• Domain name: iowa.uiowa.edu
• User name: your hawkid
• Password: your hawkid password

4. Now what?

• you have access to software in applications in matched environment as everyone else
• see how to access neuroimaging softwares FSL and AFNI here
• • these course tutorials are set up with fastx environment assumed
• access to Singularity Containers to interact with: /Shared/vosslabhpc/UniversalSoftware/SingularityContainers
