Question : What's the diferent between vmware_mouse and vmwmouse?
Loks like filters both of them but has not the same code. Should they be merge?.. if they can, looks like it can be tricky :)

Seems vmwmouse was written by Vincent Duvert along with the rest of the addons, while vmware_mouse was written by Haiku's Michael Lotz, and the latter got merged in #4 (seemingly because it works better, and it fixed #2).

Considering that only vmware_mouse is actually referenced on the main makefile (and its the one that is used on the HaikuPorts .hpkg), maybe we should just delete vmwmouse already to avoid confusion.

Edit: seems vmware_mouse has some dead code in it, mainly the _Enable() and _Disable() methods (relying on {Enable,Disable}MouseSharing() from VMWBackdoor instead).

Edit2: mmlr's vmware_mouse was originally added to Haiku in hrev33298 (with x86_64 support added in hrev44909).
