Hi @victoire00, This was discussed in #232. Please see that thread. tl;dr: this isn't yet supported, but there is a workaround. I would like to add this functionality soon, so keep an eye out for it. And thanks for the kind words about Optiland! Glad you're finding it useful. Kramer |

Afocal Model is now supported. If you have remarks/suggestions, or find a bug, let me know. Kramer |

Hello everyone,
I’m new to optical design with Optiland, and I would first like to thank the community for the clarity of the documentation and the capabilities Optiland offers. I’m really looking forward to exploring its features and learning how to use it effectively.
I apologize in advance if the answer already exists in the documentation or in previous discussions. I have searched through the available resources and open discussions but haven’t been able to find an answer to my question.
How to obtain the phase map and Zernike coefficients of a collimated beam at the imaging plane of an optical system in Optiland?
In Zemax, this would correspond to selecting the afocal image space mode. Is there an equivalent in Optiland to compute the phase distribution in this configuration?
Thank you very much for your help and for maintaining this great library !
