Behaviour that helps:
- Being kind and respectful to other people
- Respecting differing opinions, viewpoints and experiences
- Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Owning our mistakes, apologising to those affected, and learning from them
- Focusing on what is best for the community, not just for ourselves
Behaviour that is not acceptable:
- Sexualised language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or email address, without their explicit permission
- Any other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
This Code of Conduct applies in all project spaces — issues, pull requests, discussions, and code review — and also when someone is officially representing the project in public.
The maintainer is responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards, and will take fair and appropriate corrective action in response to any behaviour deemed inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
The maintainer has the right to remove, edit or reject comments, commits, code, issues and other contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct, and will explain the reasons for moderation when doing so.
Report abusive, harassing or otherwise unacceptable behaviour privately to the maintainer, @Hash-7777, through GitHub. Do not open a public issue for a conduct report.
All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. The privacy and security of the reporter will be respected.
1. Correction. Impact: inappropriate language or other unprofessional behaviour. A private, written warning explaining the nature of the violation and why it was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.
2. Warning. Impact: a violation through a single incident or series of actions. A warning with consequences for continued behaviour, including no interaction with the people involved for a specified period. Violating these terms may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.
3. Temporary ban. Impact: a serious violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behaviour. A temporary ban from any sort of interaction or public communication with the community. Violating these terms may lead to a permanent ban.
4. Permanent ban. Impact: demonstrating a pattern of violation, harassment of an individual, or aggression toward or disparagement of classes of individuals. A permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within the community.
