the caret does not go below the first line when there are multiple lines, when clicking the box to move the caret it will only go to the correct x position on the first line and typing will follow the caret, if you use arrow keys to move the caret it still doesn't go below the first line and appears at the very end of the first line but correctly types where it should be on the lower lines.
