How do I use floating mode?

I see in v4.0 change log says added floating keyboard. But no options in the settings or gestures to enable it.

I did find it in "long press comma" in my particular configuration. But unfortunately the 6 dots and <--> key just goes behind the navigation bar so no way to move it or resize (assuming that's what those buttons do) it.

This comment is a life saver. I accidentally activated this feature and could not figure out how to turn it off. I learned that its state is saved in a backup, after I backed up my settings, purged the data, uninstalled and reinstalled, then restored the settings.

Thank you both! I somehow activated the floating keyboard, and like you said, I couldn't move it around or change it back to the default layout.

I managed to switch it back by long pressing where the comma should be (it changed to a / button for some reason), and then selecting the six dots in the pop up. This switched my keyboard back to normal!
