Why the page deletes every video after exit?

I don't know if this is new or it comes with the change of URL but after every exit of browser the page It's acting like I have delete every data from it.

I'm not seeing anything get lost, all my screenshots/videos/image layers are still there after restarting chrome/firefox/safari

I tried it again today and there seems to be no problem the videos were not deleted maybe it was a momentary issue. I will update again if it happens. Thanks

It happened again and I haven't changed anything since the previous times when the videos weren't being deleted.
I notice it's been happening since the link was changed, I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

2. When the page loses your videos, does it also lose the layers that you had previously opened? does it also lose screenshots? does the "Welcome to Helioviewer" message appear?

Update:

From this page, I have videos that hasn't been deleted for almost 1 month (21days) https://helioviewer.ias.u-psud.fr/

But from helioviewer.org (https://gs671-suske.ndc.nasa.gov/) it keeps deleting the videos, after 1 or 2 days. And I noticed that after you change the name of the link. And again, I don't say that this is the problem, but I noticed that after this change.

You know what maybe this is?
I repeat I didn't change anything at all.

Clearly you're losing more than just movies and videos because it's giving you the "Welcome to Helioviewer" notification like a first time visitor.

Please make sure you are not using a link that contains "clearStorage" in the URL.

For testing, there is a link helioviewer.org?clearStorage which will do this. So I was suggesting to make sure that you are not using a link like that when going to helioviewer.

Your browser should not be forgetting unless you clear browser history, but as you said you're not doing anything different. So I don't really know what's going on. We haven't had this reported by anyone else ☹️

What's the helioviewer.org?clearStorage link?
Why don't you change the link to "Helioviewer.org" again maybe this is the problem. After that change the problems starts.

The link with clearStorage at the end will do as it says and clear storage (delete movies, screenshots, and make it look like a first time visit).

Helioviewer.org needs to redirect to the new URL for compliance purposes on our end.

Because I cannot fully understand what do you mean with the link, can you provide a screenshot with exactly this example? Because it's really weird that with the other website ".fr" the files remains for months.

Hi, because you haven't provided a screenshot yet about what do you mean with clearStorage link, the page still automatically deletes the videos. It's easy to change the name of the link to helioviewer.org again? Because I think this is the problem or to see if this is the problem. Thanks
